A Squadron 8 keychain fob from 1964

This is a brass keychain fob purchased by Glenn in 1964 while on the Irex. Apparently it is an unofficial Squadron 8 commemorative medallion having the same design as the Squadron 8 patch. The front diplays an eight ball surmounted by a sumarine and with the inscription that reads “Submarine Squadron Eight”. The back has a pair of dolphins and the inscription reads: “Submarine Force; U.S. Atlantic Fleet”.
