The USS Irex SS–482: In Bermuda, January 1961

These two photographs are from Bob Souden and show the Irex tied up next to the USS Hardhead (SS365) in Bermuda Harbour. The only date I can figure for this trip was late January 1961, but even in Bermuda that seems rather a cold time to swim. Shown in the picture to the right are Nichols ET3 (SS). Ruth QM2 (SS), and QM Bob Souden. It is possible this Bermuda trip was that of February 1962.
